For clear-coating wood, and as a penetrating first coat for blister repair on fiberglass boats.
System Three Clear Coat is a low-viscosity, water-clear epoxy system. Clear Coat cures to a brilliant, tough finish without the usual "amine blush" associated with some epoxy resin films. Clear Coat contains no volatile solvents. Excellent for applications that require a long pot life and low viscosity. Use Clear Coat as the sole epoxy system to make wood-strip canoes and kayaks. Protect Clear Coat from moisture during cure to avoid water spotting.
Preparation
Surface must be sanded and clean, dry and free of oil-based paint, oil, wax, dust and other contaminants. Do not wipe with tack cloth.
Mixing
Ratio by volume is 2 parts resin A to 1 part hardener B. Ratio by weight is 100 parts resin A to 44 parts hardener B. Do not alter mixing ratio. Mix the resin and hardener together for at least 3 minutes. Large batches need longer mixing for uniform cure.
Application
Best results will be obtained @ 75ยบ F. To avoid waste, mix only the quantity that can be used in 30 minutes. Using brush and/or squeegee, apply mixed Clear Coat to surface.

Full cure in seven days
