Does not need catalyst.
Cures when exposed to sunlight or UV lighting.
Working time is unlimited.
A wax-inhibited, clear, UV-stable coating resin that cures when exposed to natural sunlight or ultra-violet light. Designed for clear coating and producing a tack-free, sandable surface. Resin may appear light blue in mass or before being exposed to a UV light source. Do not use on polystyrene. Do not expose to sunlight until the part is ready for cure.
Mixing
Fiberglass Hawaii MEKP Catalyst must be added to Fiberglass Hawaii UV Cure resin where light cannot penetrate i.e., fin boxes, leash plugs, pigmented or thick laminates.
Application
As long as a UV light source is not present, working time is unlimited. Spread evenly over the entire surface, approximately 12-18 mils thick (1/32 of an inch). When resin has been applied to satisfaction, expose to sunlight or UV light source for 30 – 60 seconds to set the resin. Remove from direct light until a haze is visible on the surface, approximately 2 minutes then re-expose to light for another 8-to-10 minutes for a complete cure.
